This time our upgrade is not a new machine or a new material, but something much more subtle: the way we close the plastic bags that protect our droppers during storage and transport.

We have introduced new, custom security ties for the plastic bags in which we pack our droppers before shipment. They may look simple, but they significantly improve both the work of our customers’ operators and our own internal quality system.

Why We Decided to Improve Our Bag Ties

Droppers are precision components used in cosmetics, CBD products and other applications where cleanliness, traceability and easy handling are essential. The plastic bags we use protect droppers against dust and mechanical damage, but the closure system on those bags is just as important.

Traditional ties have several disadvantages in a production environment:

They usually require a knife or scissors to open.

Sharp objects create a risk of contamination in clean production areas.

Operators can accidentally damage droppers when cutting the tie.

Every additional tool and movement slows down the workflow.

We wanted a solution that would remove these obstacles and upgrade the entire handling process for our customers.

Knife-Free Opening for a Better User Experience

Our new ties have a specially designed closure system that can be opened without any cutting tool. The operator simply releases the tie by hand – quickly, safely and in a controlled way.

This offers several concrete advantages:

No knife needed: operators can open the bags using only their hands, even with gloves on.

Less risk of contamination: knives and scissors do not enter the production area, which is
particularly important in cosmetic and food-related environments.

No damage to droppers: there is no danger of cutting teats, pipettes or collars when opening
the bag.

Faster handling: the opening process is reduced to one simple movement, which saves time when
many bags are opened every day.

The result is a smoother, safer and more ergonomic handling process for everyone who works with our products.

Each Bag Has Its Own Unique Identity

The second part of the upgrade is even more important for our traceability system. Every new tie is printed with:

a unique serial number, and

a scannable barcode.

This means that each bag becomes an individual, traceable unit in our production process. By scanning or reading the number, we can immediately connect the bag to our internal documentation.

For each bag we know:

which work order it belongs to,

which operator filled and closed it,

which batch of droppers is inside,

on which date and at which location it was packed, and

for which customer order it was prepared.

This level of detail makes our internal traceability comparable to systems used in larger industrial plants with highly regulated production.

What This Means for Our Customers

Although this upgrade is primarily technical, it offers very tangible benefits for our partners and customers:

1. Faster and Safer Opening

Warehouse and production staff no longer need to search for knives or risk cutting packaging or products. Bags are opened quickly and cleanly, which is especially useful on filling lines where time and cleanliness are crucial.

2. Stronger Traceability and Documentation

In industries where audits, inspections and customer documentation are a daily routine, the ability to link each bag to a specific work order, batch and operator is a major advantage. The unique number on the tie becomes a simple, reliable reference that can be recorded in internal systems.

3. Faster Response in Case of Complaints

If a customer ever reports a problem, the unique bag number allows us to immediately trace the entire history of that product: from the materials used, to the date of packing, to the team that worked on it. This reduces the time needed for investigation and helps us take targeted corrective actions.

4. Additional Control Point in Our Quality System

The numbering of ties also acts as an internal control point. It confirms that the right quantity and the correct batch were packed for the right customer, improving the overall reliability of our logistics and production flow.

Part of a Broader Strategy of Continuous Improvement

Even though we are a compact and agile manufacturer, we build our processes on the same principles that apply to larger, highly structured companies. The introduction of these new ties is part of a wider strategy that includes:

continuous improvement of traceability from raw materials to finished products,

clear and documented responsibility for each step in the process,

simplification of daily work for operators at our customers’ production lines,

and gradual introduction of advanced quality practices into every area of our business.

For us, packaging is never “just packaging”. Every bag, every label and every tie is part of a system that must be safe, efficient and transparent.

Conclusion: Quality Is Hidden in the Details

The new, knife-free ties with unique numbers and barcodes may seem like a small change at first glance. But in practice they make a real difference:

they make the work of operators easier and safer,

they improve our traceability and quality control, and

they provide our customers with an even more reliable and user-friendly product.

At Packaging.si we believe that true quality is built step by step, detail by detail. These new ties are one more step on our path towards even higher standards in the production and packaging of droppers.

[227

post-117063","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-arhiv
["GET
