To clean a dropper bottle for reuse, take the dropper apart, rinse every part with warm water and a mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, then let everything dry fully before reassembling. Introduction A dropper bottle suits perfume oils, concentrated blends, samples and small decanted amounts. You dispense a few drops at a time, so it is easy to control how much you apply. Standard alcohol-based perfumes are usually sold with a spray pump, so a dropper is not always the best fit for them. Step-by-step: filling…
To prevent a dropper bottle from leaking, match the dropper to the bottle thread, tighten the collar firmly but not excessively, choose a teat material that suits your liquid, and fill and store the bottle upright. Most leaks come from a poor fit, a worn teat or a liquid that attacks the rubber. Check the…

Leaks, weak suction, dripping and sticking caps usually have a simple cause once you…
The most common problems with droppers for pharmaceutical and similar bottles are leakage, poor suction, dripping, teat deterioration, inaccurate dosing, contamination and difficulty opening child-resistant closures. Most of them result from a mismatch between components, an unsuitable material for the liquid, or incorrect use. Knowing them in advance makes it easier to specify the right…

In pharmaceutical-style bottles the pipette is one part of the dropper, and the teat creates the suction that fills it. Dropper and pipette:…
