We’re expanding our dropper range with a new, sustainable option: ECO droppers featuring bamboo collars with tamper-evident rings. These will be compatible with DIN18 bottles and are designed to meet both aesthetic and functional expectations.

The bamboo collars are made from real, natural bamboo – offering a more eco-friendly and elegant packaging solution for cosmetic, CBD, and wellness products. Combined with a tamper-evident ring, these droppers help increase product integrity and consumer trust.

Tamper-Evident Packaging: What Does EU Legislation Say?

Under EU Directive 2011/62/EU (the Falsified Medicines Directive), tamper-evident features are mandatory for prescription medicines. The goal is to prevent counterfeit medicines from entering the supply chain. For this reason, tamper-evident packaging is a legal requirement in the pharmaceutical industry.

However, for cosmetic products, EU Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 does not require tamper-evident packaging. That said, the use of tamper-evident rings is considered best practice, especially for high-value or sensitive formulations, as it offers visible protection and boosts consumer confidence.

We currently produce and sell a wide range of droppers, including both tamper-evident and non-tamper-evident collars, depending on the intended application.
